
Chinmoy Bhate MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pathology, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey; Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaDr. Bhate is an American dermatologist and dermatopathologist, with a focus on skin cancer diagnosis and dermatologic surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of both Dermatology and Pathology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He also currently serves as the institutional tumor board coordinator within the VA New Jersey Health Care System. Dr. Bhate enjoys teaching and is actively involved resident education; he has presented at national and international meetings. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and currently serves on the Dermpath Rapid Response Committee. He is also a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Sigma Xi, and the Gold Humanism Society. Dr. Bhate specializes in melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer care, pigmented lesions, dermoscopy, cutaneous lymphoma, and phototherapy. He also has a clinical interest in adult atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.
