Chinmoy Bhate MD
Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pathology, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey; Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaDr. Bhate is an American dermatologist with a focus on skin cancer care. He is an Associate Professor of both Dermatology and Pathology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He previously served as Cancer Liaison Physician and Chair for the accredited cancer program at the VA New Jersey Health Care System. Dr. Bhate enjoys teaching, is active in resident education, and has presented at national and international meetings. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has served on various committees. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Gold Humanism Society, and Sigma Xi. Dr. Bhate's clinical interests include melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer care, pigmented lesions, Mohs surgery, dermatopathology, and dermoscopy.
