Chenab Khakh is currently a rising second year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Biology and Society with a concentration in Public Health. Chenab first became interested in ophthalmology after conducting glaucoma and oncology research as a summer undergraduate research fellow at Weill Cornell. As a medical student, she has pursued her passions as a volunteer with the Wills Eye Access Ophthalmology Clinic and Wills Eye Diabetes Day. Chenab is excited to further explore ophthalmology through the summer research rotation with the world-renowned Ocular Oncology department at Wills Eye Hospital.
