Charlotte Chen, DO, is a research fellow at Joslin Diabetes Center and a second-year clinical endocrine fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has obtained her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology accelerated combined program BS/DO. Throughout medical school, she has been an active volunteer for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, providing support to children with type 1 and 2 diabetes. After medical school, Charlotte completed her pediatric residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She is passionate about helping youth with chronic endocrine disorders. During her residency, Charlotte pursued research in the molecular biology of panhypopituitarism. Currently, she is doing clinical research on diabetes technologies with a focus on health care disparities.
