Dr. Cary Paine is a clinical nephrologist at the University of Washington, where he cofounded the University of Washington Kidney-Liver Program, a subspecialty nephrology service dedicated to caring for patients with concomitant liver and kidney problems. He is a local expert in the management of hepatorenal syndrome, hyponatremia in cirrhosis, and renal replacement therapy for patients with liver failure. Dr. Paine also serves as the Medical Director for dialysis services at the University of Washington.
