He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his postgraduate training at the University of Michigan. He is an IBD specialist at the University of Colorado Crohn’s & Colitis Center as well as a physician scientist and part of the GI and Liver Innate Immune Programs (GALIIP) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His main research focus is on elucidating cellular and molecular mechanisms of intestinal fibrosis in IBD, with the goal of leading to new therapies for intestinal fibrosis.
