Brooke Sadler PhD
Research Instructor, Department of Pediatrics, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MissouriDr. Brooke Sadler received her PhD from Arizona State University in Evolutionary Genetics in 2014. She completed her postdoctoral training in 2019 in the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine. During this time, she worked in the human genetics laboratory of Dr. Christina Gurnett, where she was a bioinformaticist. In 2019, she accepted a faculty position in the department of Pediatrics, division of hematology/oncology in the laboratory of Dr. Jorge Di Paola. Here, she is the co-director of the genetics and genomics core on the Zimmerman Program on the Biology of VWD Program Project Grant. She coordinates the sharing of genetic data between the different projects in the PPG, as well as analyzes large-scale whole-genome data from VWD patients and their family members. In 2020 she was awarded the American Society of Hematology Fellow to Faculty Scholar Award. She continues to form new collaborations and help with analysis of genetic and genomic data whenever it is needed.
