Brennan Ballantyne, MD, FRCPC, is an adult cardiologist who completed training at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. He is currently training at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute, University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and will complete fellowships in both cardiac electrophysiology and advanced heart failure and transplantation. He hopes to care for patients with heart failure and rhythm disorders.

Dr. Ballantyne's clinical interests involve device therapies for patients with heart failure and sudden cardiac death prevention. His research interests involving cardiac imaging and risk stratification for arrhythmic events in cardiomyopathy, hemodynamic effects of leadless pacing, and patient selection for cardiac resynchronization therapy.
