Dr. Heckman-Stoddard’s research portfolio focuses on interventions to reduce breast and gynecologic cancer risk as well as the development of surrogate biomarkers.
She serves as the NCI Project Scientist for the Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study in collaboration with the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases examining the impact of metformin and lifestyle intervention on cancer risk.
