Dr. Brandt Esplin graduated magna cum laude from Utah State University with a bachelor of arts in chemistry. He completed the MD/PhD program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with special distinction, and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. His dissertation research included work in hematopoiesis and bone marrow transplantation in the laboratory of Paul W. Kincade, PhD. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota, where he is currently training as a hematology/oncology fellow.
