Brad W. Neville DDS

Distinguished University Professor, Medical University of South Carolina, James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, Charleston, South Carolina

 A native of West Virginia, Dr. Brad Neville is a 1977 graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.  He did his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Emory University and joined the faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina in 1980, where he is currently the Director of the Oral Pathology Biopsy Laboratory.  In 2006, MUSC awarded Dr. Neville with the title of Distinguished University Professor.

Dr. Neville is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and was the President of this specialty board in 2013-2014.  In 2005-2006, he served as President of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.  He is the co-principal author of two textbooks:  Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology [4th Edition, 2016] and Color Atlas of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases [2019].
