Optometrist, Aventura, FloridaSince 2001, Mr. Severinsky has specialized in specialty contact lens fitting and especially scleral lenses. Today his primary area of interest is designing and fitting contact lens for keratoconus, after corneal collagen cross-linking and other hard-to-fit cases.
He has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a contact lens chapter in the major cornea textbook.
He is a Fellow of American Academy of Optometry, British Contact Lens Association and Scleral Lens Education Society. Mr. Severinsky will receive his OD degree from the New England College of Optometry in May 2016.
