She is a graduate of the general surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the medical school at the Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and is a board-certified general surgeon. Her clinical interests involve disparities in care for transplant patients, physician well-being, and pediatric transplantation.
