Bettina J. Kraus, MD, is a certified cardiologist, heart failure and hypertension specialist with long-standing expertise particularly in patients with diabetes and kidney disease. Her current research focuses on the cardio-renal interaction in patients with diabetes. She is convinced that an interdisciplinary approach to the cardio-kidney-metabolic continuum is fundamentally important for future patient care.
