Dr. Benjamin Biederman is an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY. Dr. Biederman received his B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University in Durham, NC and obtained his M.D. from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  After completing residency, he is planning on applying for a fellowship in Gastroenterology/Hepatology. He hopes to pursue a career in hepatology at an academic medical center where he will split his time between clinical practice and research. His primary current research interests include gender and racial disparities in liver transplantation as well as outcomes in patients with cirrhosis.
