Barbara Dworetzky, M.D., is Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, Chief of Epilepsy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston where she directs the Edward B. Bromfield Comprehensive Epilepsy Program and Clinical Fellowships. Dr. Dworetzky received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, residency and fellowship at the Harvard-Longwood Neurology program. Dr. Dworetzky is on the board of directors for the American Epilepsy Society and is a founding member of the Functional Neurological Disorders Society. She is internationally known for work in functional seizures (aka psychogenic nonepileptic seizures). She has been listed as a top doctor in Boston magazine since 2009.
