Aya Sultan MD

Dr. Sultan was awarded her PhD by the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and then went on to receive her MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. She completed residency training at the University of Hawaii and is currently a gynecologic oncology fellow in the joint Stanford/UCSF program. Dr. Sultan is involved in a wide range of translational research projects, examining ovarian cancer from different angles—from drug resistance and personalized therapy, to early detection and metastasis. She is interested in the clinical research arena and becoming involved with clinical trials.
