
Anne M. Murray MD, MSc
Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics, Hennepin HealthCare and Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute, and University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota; ASPREE-XT Study US Co-PIDr. Murray is a geriatrician and epidemiologist at Hennepin HealthCare, the Medical Director of the Berman Center for Outcomes and Clinical Research at the Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute, and Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She is the Co-PI- for the NIA/NCI- funded 10 year ASPirin in Reducing Events in the Elderly trial and follow- on Study (ASPREE/XT). She attended UMN Mpls medical school and completed her Medicine residency at Mayo, followed by a 3 year geriatric fellowship and Masters in Epidemiology at Harvard. Her research has focused has been the epidemiology of cognitive impairment, especially in dialysis and chronic kidney disease patients, and she is internationally known for her work in that area. Dr. Murray has been at HCMC/HHC since 1997.
