Anna Kahkoska is an eighth-year MD/PhD candidate at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her PhD in Nutrition with a minor in Epidemiology in the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her research focuses on precision health approaches to improve outcomes for individuals with diabetes. Following graduation, she will join UNC as a KL2 Scholar and Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition, where she will focus on integrating systems science methods with precision health analytics to improve the delivery of diabetes care for older adults.
