Dr. Tsapanou is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, with a BA in Psychology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, GR), an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology (Medical School of Athens, GR), and a PhD degree in Clinical Neuropsychology/Neurology (Medical School of Athens, GR). Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Cognitive Neuroscience Division of Columbia University, New York, NY. Her main interest is the human brain function, and more precisely, its relation with factors as sleep. She has a great interest in exploring how sleep problems may be associated with brain morphology and genetics, across age. Furthermore, this information can lead new research on the association between sleep and neurodegenerations, especially dementia in older adults.
