Angela Y. Jia MD, PhD
Resident Physician, Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MarylandDr. Jia is a Resident Physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she currently serves as Chief Resident. She previously completed medical training at Weill Cornell Medicine and doctoral training in Pathology at Columbia University. Her doctoral thesis investigated the role of microRNAs in bladder cancer tumorigenesis and progression. Her research interests include clinical studies of targeted radiopharmaceuticals, mitigating the dose-limiting damage to the surrounding environment, and clinical trials to optimize the potential of radiotherapy against endpoints that are the most important to patients.
