Professor Andrew Hattersley is Professor of Molecular Medicine and a consultant diabetologist at the University of Exeter Medical school, Exeter, UK. He established precision medicine in the commonest types of monogenic diabetes and is now leading the UK MASTERMIND consortium to investigate precision medicine approaches in Type 2 diabetes. Prof. Hattersley has authored over 700 peer reviewed medical articles and given over 350 invited talks at international conferences.
