Andrea Vianello is Associate Professor of Respiratory Medicine and Director of the Respiratory Pathophysiology Division of the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Sciences of the University of Padova.

He received doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua (110/110 summa cum laude), Board in Respiratory Medicine (70/70 summa cum laude) and Board in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (70/70) from the University of Padova.

He has been a Visiting Clinical Fellow at the Sleep Disorder Clinic, Stanford University, Palo Alto, USA.

He leads a research group carrying on clinical trials on Non-Invasive Respiratory Support in patients with Acute Respiratory Failure, particularly individuals with neuromuscular disorders.

He published  > 130 papers in extenso in peer-reviewed journals
