Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellow, Saint Louis University, Saint Louis, MissouriAnandini Suri is a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellow at Saint Louis University, Saint Louis, Missouri. Dr. Suri completed her medical education in India, where she did a pediatric residency and practiced briefly as a pediatrician. She developed interest in pediatric hepatology and came to the US to pursue the same. Dr. Suri completed her pediatric residency from the Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai and Elmhurst Hospital Center, NYC, NY. Soon after, she joined her current fellowship. During her fellowship, she worked closely with her mentor in understanding the pathophysiology behind liver injury and fibrosis, specifically in alpha 1 antitrypsin liver disease. Dr. Suri has written invited reviews for journal such as Clinics in Liver Disease, Clinical Liver Disease, and Clinical Therapeutics. After completion of her fellowship, she wants to pursue an advanced fellowship in pediatric transplant hepatology.
