Amy C. Nau OD, FAAO
Optometrist, Korb & Associates, Boston, MAAmy Nau is a research optometrist who divides her time between the practice of optometry and clinical research. She graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2000 and completed a residency in ocular disease with the Boston VA Health Service. She has been on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston and worked as a sub-investigator for dry eye and allergy clinical trials. In 2004 Dr. Nau accepted a position as an Assistant Professor and Director of Optometric Services at the University of Pittsburgh with a secondary appointment at the McGowan Institute of Regenerative Medicine after establishing the Sensory Substitution Laboratory. In 2008 she received the Pennsylvania Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award. In 2013, she returned to Boston as a Partner at Korb & Associates, a unique research based academic practice that focuses on dry eye and complex contact lens fitting. She has published extensively, lectures nationally and internationally and is involved in mentoring graduate students.
