Dr. Oakley is an experienced clinical dermatologist at Waikato Hospital, in Hamilton, New Zealand and an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Medicine of the University of Auckland. Her research and teaching interests are mainly around the early diagnosis of melanoma by teledermoscopy. She is the current President of the International Society of Teledermatology.
