Dr. Amanda C. Cheung is an assistant professor of medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, gastroenterology fellowship at Saint Louis University, and transplant hepatology fellowship at Northwestern University. She specializes in both general and transplant hepatology and cares for patients with a wide range of chronic liver diseases including cirrhosis, alcohol-associated liver disease, fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis, and autoimmune-related liver diseases. She is co-director of the Wilson Disease Center of Excellence at Northwestern. Her research interests are primarily focused on alcohol-associated liver disease and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
