Dr. Amanda Cartee is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her post-graduate medical education at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she had training in clinical research and care of patients with celiac disease. She is excited to be at UAB, where she can bring clinical expertise and access to clinical trials for non-dietary therapeutics for patients with celiac disease in the Deep South. She also enjoys teaching trainees and colleagues about celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and other enteropathies.
