Ali Moiin MD, FAAD
Clinical Professor of Dermatology, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan; Member, Michigan Board of MedicineDr. Moiin immigrated to the United States during high school and finished all his studies in California, including medical school at the University of California, Davis. He completed his internship at the University of California, San Francisco. He then moved to Detroit to finish his residency in dermatology at Wayne State University in 1995. After meeting his spouse, he made Detroit his home. He now heads a comprehensive dermatology center in metropolitan Detroit. He is a Clinical Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Moiin has been very active in Detroit and Michigan politics. He has served on the Board of Medicine of Michigan for the past 2 years. He first served under Republican governor English 15 years ago and was appointed by Democratic Governor Whitmer 2 years ago.
Dr. Moiin also headed courses at AAD annual meetings and has been involved with the AAD, serving on many committees.
