
Alex Reyentovich MD
Director of Heart Failure, Bellevue Hospital Center; Medical Director, Ventricular Assist Device Program, NYU Langone Medical Center, New York, New YorkDr. Reyentovich’s medical expertise encompass all aspects of management of patients with heart failure including the selection and care of patients with mechanical assist devices and heart transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, valvular heart disease as well as the perioperative management of high risk cardiac surgical cases. Dr. Reyentovich graduated from Columbia University Medical Center. After residency, he was asked to stay on an additional year as a Chief Medical Resident. He continued on at the Columbia University Medical Center where he completed his Cardiology training and additional training in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation.
Upon completing his training, Dr. Reyentovich joined the Heart Failure Program at NYU Langone Medical Center, New York University School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Director of Heart Failure at the Bellevue Hospital Center and is the medical director of the ventricular assist device (VAD) program at the NYU Langone Medical Center.
