Aileen Y. Chang MD
Assistant Professor of Dermatology, University of California, San Francisco; Director, Dermatology Consult Service, San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco, CaliforniaAileen Chang, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco, and director of the dermatology consult service at San Francisco General Hospital. She is also the co-director of the Social Determinants of Health Curriculum for the UCSF Department of Dermatology. Dr. Chang’s work is rooted in advancing global dermatology and health equity. Dr. Chang’s research interests are in the intersection of social determinants of health and dermatology, scabies and lice, skin infectious diseases, management of chronic wounds/lymphedema in resource-limited settings, and skin health in migrant populations. In international settings, Dr. Chang’s work is centered on increasing dermatology training of frontline providers and access to dermatologic care.
