Adalia Yang is a Master’s of Public Health candidate in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She is on track to become a registered dietitian. Adalia’s research to date has been on diabetes management among the food insecure, with an emphasis on clinical implications and practice recommendations, supervised by Professor Enza Gucciardi from Ryerson University. Adalia’s dietetic focus is on pediatric populations and women’s health, particularly prenatal care among vulnerable youth, gestational diabetes management, food neophobia and picky eating among children, and cultural adaptations of nutritional recommendations.
