Director of Interventional Endoscopy; Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology; Medical Director of International Health, Northwestern Medicine, Chicago, IllinoisAziz Aadam, MD, is an interventional endoscopist and is the Director of Interventional Endoscopy and Director of the Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship program at Northwestern. His area of expertise includes third space endoscopy and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in addition to interventional endoscopy. Dr. Aadam is active in clinical research which is widely disseminated through publication in top journals and presentations at national conferences. Current research topics include refinements in POEM technique and the use of real time physiology to guide a tailored approach to POEM.
