Marco Bergonti MD, PhD
Cardio Electrophysiologist, Cardiology Department, Cardiocentro Ticino Institute, Lugano, SwitzerlandMarco Bergonti earned his MD and completed his residency in Cardiology at the University of Milan. He was trained in cardiac electrophysiology during a 2-year fellowship in Antwerp by prof. Andrea Sarkozy, during which he also obtained his PhD in medical sciences with a thesis on catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation. He is currently a EHRA-certified cardiac electrophysiologist with an interest in research on atrial fibrillation ablation, heart failure, and continuous rhythm monitoring.
