Giulio Conte, MD, PhD, is a senior consultant at the Cardiology Department of Cardiocentro Ticino Institute (Lugano, Switzerland). His clinical activity involves all aspects of electrophysiology and management of complex cardiac arrhythmias including catheter ablation and implantation of cardiovascular electronic devices. He is responsible of the Genetic Arrhythmia Service at Cardiocentro Ticino and Professor of Medicine at Università della Svizzera Italiana (Switzerland) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). Authors of more than 200 scientific peer-reviewed articles and member of the Scientific Initiatives Committee and the European Cardiac Arrhythmia Genetics (ECGen) focus group of the European Heart Rhythm Association.
