Raised in Taos, NM, she spent over a decade in the Pacific Northwest after completing her BA degree in Environmental Studies at Willamette University. After a brief stint in non-profit Environmental Education work, Dr. Ninneman returned to school to pursue her interest in medicine, ultimately completing her MD at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. She eagerly returned to her home state of NM for residency where she hopes to continue working in hospital medicine and primary care after graduation. Her clinical interests include addiction treatment, adolescent medicine, and hospital medicine. Outside of work, she can be found hiking, travelling, and spending quality time with her partner and her family.
